Printers that can help you save money

Printer City by ch3rrie | Deviantart

According to CTV British Columbia, report dated November 14, 2011. As stated in the Consumer Reports that recently tested 135 different kinds of printer, consisting of the new all-in-ones / multifunction printers to help you find a printer that will save your money. The individuals (testers) instructed to print thousands of pages of text, color graphics and photos, and assessed the quality.

Printers are also assessed on how quickly they are going to print a page. The page per minute (PPM) speed widely varies, with some of machines that can print three times faster than the others. They also checked the difference of PPM printing speed using laser toner and inkjet cartridge printers.

So, if your printer uses a lot of ink more than the usual printer, it is better to find a better one that can help you save more money or try refilling your cartridges than buying a new one.

“Re-filling your ink cartridges saves consumers as much as 80%” Said by Adam Bai, Ink Toner Cartridge Ltd.

One of the great example is like having a black laser toner cartridge that has a market price of $98 if you buy new, while $48 to refill. A new black inkjet cartridge that will cost you $20, while you can get a refilled inkjet at $7.

Here are some of the Consumer Report that can help you decide on what kind of printer will suit you best.

Having a printer that can connect to a network enables you to print across the room or from another floors. Like the all-in-one HP Officejet Pro 8500A which considered as the best buy that only cost $180, but if you print in black-and-white my suggestion would be the $170 priced Brother MFC-7360N that prints 14 pages per minute and best with quality brother toner cartridges. But, If you love printing photos HP Officejet 6000 Wireless that cost around $100 is the best for you.
